Editors Instagram - September 2016

It shouldn't have been a busy month, but September sure did turn out that way. The In Dream campaign touched down and landed at the Electric Picnic in Ireland after a couple of dates in Italy, and then we probably assumed that the band would be taking some time to get the road noise out of their heads and do some living again. And they did, just not in the way you'd expect.

They'd already done a promo for the Stand With Refugees march in London during August, and then on the 13th of September Oxfam announced that Editors would be involved in a live broadcast from a refugee camp in Greece call Fillipiada. What followed was a walk around the camp and an insight into what life is like for those who are displaced and seeking safety in the world.

Towards the end of the month there was a single photograph with a caption that provoked excited but cautious optimism. It was a panoramic snap of the band in rehearsals and it said Beginnings .... Editors6. I say cautious optimism because you just never know how things will go with this band, but it's certainly a reason to smile.

Included in the September Instagram collection are the last few remaining tour snaps from various sources, as well as all the promotional press photographs from Fillipiada that were made available to the media on the Oxfam website. Enjoy the images ;)
