Knee-deep in the final throes of the mini-campaign for In Dream, there's been an awful lot of pictorial activity on Editors' Instagram and various related sources. Here's some facts and figures for you; they played 12 festival dates in total during July, making this the busiest time of the entire cycle. June was a close second but for the fact that Hurricane and Southside got burned due to the weather. From where we stand right now, there are 9 remaining shows that will take them throughout Europe and then back to the neighbourhood again. Once that's done, the plans are for the band to get together in a rehearsal space and start bashing out some new songs. Hopefully, they get to put their feet up on their collective sofas for a while first though. They've been a little bit busy lately.
There's some unfinished business from the month in the form of a show that was filmed for TV, at Schwuz in Berlin, but which has yet to be released from the vaults. It's available to listen to here at the Archive, but the visuals are still on standby somewhere. My hope is that, in an age where the internet means people are used to instant gratification, those with the footage don't sit on it for too long. Give us the movie, ARTE!
