15 minutes ago on Editors' official Twitter account, this panoramic photograph appeared and somewhere in the background, the sound of a starter pistol can be heard going off. The title of the tweet was "Beginnings .... Editors6", which is a simple moniker but an opportunity to mark the calendar and say "It all started here". How long any of this will take is another matter, but this is exciting news. We should also remember that when this record is completed, the second incarnation of the band will have made the same number of albums as the first. No pressure.

- It could be something brand new that we're unaware of (likely)
- They're rehearsing Dream Dark as Your Heaven, or The Wind on the Water (2 of the lost titles from In Dream)
- They're covering Saturday Night by Whigfield or Wannabe by The Spice Girls (they'll find the gloom in those tracks)
- They're practicing their new version of The Pulse which will eventually be a duet with Justin Bieber, and that will be the one that ends up on E6. This will make everybody grumpy and we will moan about it for years afterwards.
