Oxfam Stand as One promo clip

Up next is some gloomy philanthropy courtesy of Editors, who recorded a short promotional appeal backstage at Glastonbury 2016. The band were included in a live compilation album covering that show, with all proceeds being split between Oxfam's Stand as One appeal and the fund set up in memory of labour politician Jo Cox. The common thread underlying both causes is the plight of displaced individuals in the world, and it makes complete sense that the band are behind this. Not only because of their history with Oxfam, but also because refugees were essentially one of the main bogeyman scare tactics used by "Vote Leave"  during the rerefendum on whether the UK should depart from Europe. As we know, the result of that referendum was something Editors were less than happy with, along with millions more of us.
