Taken from the band's online forum, this is a list of the shows Editors played during July 2026:-
Fri 3 - UK, London, Crystal Palace Park (with Snow Patrol)
Thu 9 - UK, Birmingham, The Warehouse (Villa Park)
Sun 12 - Belgium, Bruges, Cactusfestival
Sun 19 - UK, Nottingham, Splendour Festival
Sat 25 - UK, Brighton, On The Beach
As you'll notice, they played a big homecoming show in Birmingham at the Warehouse on the 9th, as well as a slot with Snow Patrol on the 3rd. In a year where there's little live activity, July will be remembered as the month where they performed the most. All of this will of course be changing next year, when the tour campaign for Surface, Echo and Sound will really get started.

Maintaining the central theme of this little blog, July offered a fantastic chance to travel way back in time courtesy of a post by Soup Collective. If you've ever watched the videos for Munich or A Ton of Love, you've seen their work. They are celebrating their 25th anniversary this year and as part of that they shared some of their videos which affectionately became known as "The Glitches" from 2009. There's a whole story surrounding them, and it's all detailed here at the Archive using this link:-
Having been active/addicted in 2009 I was of course able to grab them all at the time, which is why I'm fairly sure that my own video which collects them all together as single clip contains some extra footage. If you want to view it in all its unsettling beauty, go here.
