Watching this caused me to instantly flash back to the Joiz interview that Russell and Tom did in 2013 and the infamous Al Di chat from 2007. Para Franko has a way of doing his thing that is just outside what we could call conventional, and it's fantastic. There is literally no way of knowing what his next move will be in terms of his line of questioning, so it turns the entire encounter into a game of "what the hell is happening and where is this going?". When you've had to ride the promotional train for as long as Editors have, it's got to be a welcome change to have at least one interview that is full of unknowns. Although it does tumble headlong into wackiness at times. Whether it's inquiring where the presents are and then asking for a smile from Ed, to discussing the notorious and feared favelas of Birmingham the entire 8 minutes and change is a complete guessing game. Watch in wonder ;)
