For those of you who look forward to looking back, here's the latest collection of Editors' Instagram posts with lots of bonus materials from related sources. The promotional treadmill increased in speed during October, meaning a lot more activity in support of In Dream out in media-land. A glance over the last 31 days here at the Archive reveals an awful lot about Editors' current schedule.
There's been a very fan-friendly approach to raising awareness of E5, with the band taking part in 3 signing sessions this month at Leeds, London and at a pop-up-shop event prior to their appearance at Palais 12. The UK tour began and also concluded in October, with the first date in Belfast at the Limelight on the 9th and winding up in Manchester at the Academy on the 22nd. Then it was off to Paris to start the next set of shows which will lead them all the way through until mid December. We also got multiple interviews with the band but one of my favourite appearances was when Tom ran through In Dream with John Kennedy on Radio X (formely XFM).
And so to Editors' Instagram account. The main body of material is from sources outside of it, and there's lots to look at including a brilliant set of polaroids from the Line of Best Fit article. Other highlights include
- Editors on Polish buses
- The answer to the age old question "Does Ed possess a hairy chest?"
- Editors, a former Westlife singer and Ana Matronic having Sunday Brunch
- A deeply sinister looking man in a mask who will be dispatched to find you if you didn't buy In Dream.
