As well as the complete show, there were some pro-shot videos released to watch at the time of the gig too. The 2 main sources where I ripped them from are now offline, so I've collected all 6 clips and made a 30 minute highlight video, which is available for the first time below. Of course, it absolutely burns me to know that the entire show was probably filmed, but that the resulting footage is idling away on a shelf feeling lonely and waiting to be appreciated. Still, it's prime material for further on down the line when the band are looking to raise funds for zimmer frames and false teeth in their old age. They could release a "Surgical Girdle" edition of The Weight of Your Love containing a few bonus tracks and the complete Club69 broadcast as a bonus DVD. Actually, will we even have DVDs at that stage?
It will probably be a direct, digital brain implant that you insert into your nose via a usb stick. Uncomfortable, for sure, but worth it for the hi-definition images and surround sound you'd get inside your skull. But then, I suppose that in itself will bring its own issues. Who wants a video library full of snot-covered usb sticks? And what if you sneezed while you were watching a movie? The thing would fly out and might even accidentally hit somebody near you, as it sails from your open nostril at tremendous speed like a gooey-green torpedo. The more I think about it, the worse these ideas actually seem.
