This is an oddity that occurred within the last week, believe it or not. As part of a television appearance to promote their first gig of 2014, at Club 69 in Belgium, Tom is a guest on the receiving end of two questions that you suspect he really wishes he hadn't been asked. If you turn the volume up very, very loud I imagine that you can actually hear his skin crawling, as he waits for the ground to open up and swallow him whole (with just a mumbled "hello"?).
To his credit he handled it like a complete pro. Well played, sir. No hearts were broken and everyone walked away unscathed.
