MTV Live - St Lukes 31st May 2007

Editors' performance at St Luke's during May of 2007 has all the speed, passion and volume you need. It's safe to say that there are two versions of this gig; one is the super sexy highlights video that aired on MTV which is clean and sparkly and suitable for viewing with your elderly relatives, while the other is the fully uncut gig that has all the screw-ups and swearing left in and would probably cause them to raise a disapproving eyebrow or two. Either way, each video is equally valid and that's why I'm sharing both of them here. Of course, the price you pay for the recording of the full set is the drop in picture quality as the original stream was pretty shaky. However, if you're as much of a completist as I am then you'll still find this a lot of fun to watch. Take a look you'll find:-

• Official forum members caught on camera in the crowd. 
• Equipment malfunctions that cause Tom to drop his guitar mid-song during Fall and not even miss a beat. 
• Blistering versions of You Are Fading and Escape the Nest that completely blow their studio-based counterparts out of the water.
• Tom's colourful inquiry to the rest of the band as to why they aren't playing when he incorrectly introduces The Racing Rats before actually playing Fall, then accidentally letting it slip that there will be an encore when he shouldn't have.
