One of the advantages that a band has nowadays, compared to those that came before them years ago, is the way the internet can be used by their fans. I set up this blog because I love the band Editors, and I want to try and share that passion with other like-minded souls. It gives us a chance to connect instantly, and to meet people in a much faster way than simply writing letters would. Of course, the main benefit for bands is that in their absence they can be kept visible through sites like this one set up by fans, and that's what this post is all about.
Here's a list of fan-sites that you should absolutely be checking out now that Editors are buried in a studio recording album number 4. They range in size and language, but the one constant among them all is that they are fans of the band (and they're all really nice folks). Check them out, you'll be glad you did.
Editors Daily - Sadly no longer with usDutch Fansite - http://www.inthebackroom.nl/ Run by superfan and all around good guy, Jeen. This was the first ever Editors fansite I encountered when looking for stuff about the band.
Argentinian Fansite - http://editorsargentina.tumblr.com/
Italian Fansite - http://editorsitalyforum.freeforumzone.leonardo.it/comunita.aspx
German Fansite - http://www.editors-fansite.de/
So there you have it. If I missed your site just email me and I'll add it to the list.
Big hugs, drew :) x
