Ever wondered how Chris would sound if he was speaking in Japanese? You can satisfy your curiosity with this strange little clip that the guys recorded prior to their appearance in Japan with good buddies We Are Scientists. The quality isn't perfect, but good enough to watch. It was essentially a brief 30 second plug for the show, and it's unintentionally hilarious for lots of good reasons. Tom looks horribly uncomfortable (except when jokingly claiming to hate We Are Scientists), Russell looks as though he's about to collapse in hysterics throughout and Ed is Mr Sunshine, delivering his scripted lines with more passion than is probably necessary for a tour advertisement. And Chris is...well Chris is as cool as ever even when speaking in a different language. For all Editors have gained a reputation as a dark and gloomy bunch of cats, this would suggest otherwise. I have another 2 Japanese clips that are equally as weird/fabulous and I'll dig them out sometime soon.
I have to say that as an overly-obsessed fan this is the kind of stuff my dreams are made of. Just wonderful. Enjoy!
