This is another stop on Tom's Italian promo tour, this time it's with a big Editors fan, Giulia Salvi. How big a fan? She has "Hyena" tattooed on her right ankle in honour of the band. True fact.
As with the recent Radio Freccia session, both Deep Dive and Smokers are played but without the additional harmonies and strumming from Mr Willes. There's also some insider information about the current activities of Editors, including a summer of rehearsals (but not recording), and the lack of involvement of Blanck Mass this time around. No acrimony, only scheduling conflicts. Now that the band is effectively returning to being a 5 piece, I wonder how that will shape the sounds being created. Particularly given the way EBM really appears to have been a very shared construction, not necessarily tilted in the direction of its traditionally primary songwriter.
