In about 48 hours this clip will make much more sense than it does now, given that it is apparently a part of some big Editors announcement that's coming on Thursday the 5th September 2019. Let's look at some potential and highly likely scenarios:-
- Greatest hits release date with title.
- New standalone release, possibly Black Gold or Upside Down.
- The rest of the band fired Tom while he was away in Nashville, Mr Rezvani is now the singer having moved from photography to wearisome warbling instead. "Editors" are now "Rahi's Good Time Blues Ensemble".
- Justin Lockey has shaved his beard, witten the word slave on his cheek and is now refusing to answer to anything other than "symbol" (it's been done elsewhere, it could happen again, people).
