The band's UK tour ended with a sold out night and London's Brixton Academy on the 24th October 2018, and if anything it acted as a summary of everything that had come before it. It's a chance to reacquaint and remind yourself of just who Editors are and what they're capable of when they pick up and plug in. Because of the factory assembly-line nature of popular music, with everything so transient and fast moving, it's rare to still have bands that are quietly developing on the periphery and building their own little empires outside of the mainstream. Even more unusual that they do it all away from the country of their inception.
In terms of analogies Editors are a perfect example of what happens when you leave home, make a success of yourself and then come back to show off a little while explain how it happened. They earned it. Turn it up, enjoy the music ;)
