Here's Editors on a Mexican Radio show called Triste Turno that has one of the most fantastic pieces of intro music you'll ever hear. It's a Napalm Death style burst of noise with the show's title shouted at the end of it. It's perfect. No fat, all lean muscle and straight to the point. I like. In fact I like it so much I've left it as the outro to this clip, so you can marvel at its splendour for yourselves.
This is a great chat with Justin, Elliott and Tom and it starts with one of the hosts saying that he first saw the band at Lollapalooza in 2006. That's remarkable. It's probably also what sets this up for success because this really does turn into a bunch of people just casually talking with each other about nonsense, in the main. It's a welcome change from the usual "So, why did you call your new record Violence?" style interrogations. There's also the suggestion from one of the djs that Editors make much more happy music these days. Hmmmm...
Enjoy the banter ;)
