This is another one of those bootlegs that I made purely for my own interest, just to get a feel for what happened in Paris last night. It has rough edges and it's not perfect, but it's enough to be an accurate representation of a show I missed and that's good enough for me.
The source of the recording comes from the video footage shot by Live to love music Do Riane, and many thanks to you for sharing it with the world. If you want to see what the evening looked like as well as hearing it, drop by the YouTube profile and take a look.
The Parisian crowd really showed up and made a joyful noise for this one, imposing their will enough to become a part of the event. I love those shows where it isn't about how good the band were or if the crowd reacted, but more a result of the two in clear communication with each other from the start. It always elevates things far above the ordinary. I'm struck by the revamped version of No Harm, and how much it has echoes of the MTV Unplugged take of Dumb by Nirvana. When Justin plays the guitar with the drumstick it gives it this sound almost like a cello, and it compliments the arrangement really well.
As I said before, this was a thing I put together for myself but I'm pretty sure one or two of you are at the same "beyond help" level of Editors fandom so I'm posting it here. Enjoy the music ;)
