Rahi's 3 day Countdown clip for VI OLENCE 6th March 2018

Britpop news now as gloomy, angular post punk favourites and table tennis enthusiasts The Editors get ready to release their long awaited 6th album, Violins on Friday the 8th March. This record sees the band branching out lyrically, with vocalist Tim Smith describing a technique he's used in Vegas in the past to gain success at the craps tables. Apparently, he bribes the staff with a sweet bakery treat and then proceeds to win all night long. It's documented with a little subtlety in the background of the song Hallelujah (Slow Down):-

"I got luck in this town when I offered a doughnut"

Fact.

Anyway, here's a very short video of the artwork being printed off, courtesy of the man with the vision who constructed its design, Mr Rahi Rezvani. All set to the tune of Nothingness from that album which is playing far too quietly in the background. Not long now...

brought to you with lots and lots of lemming-love :) x
