**Updated - 8th September added Ultrahome's audience recording of the show.**
The first point I'd make about this show is that it was a difficult one to post again, considering all the terrible associations I have with it now (see here for a reminder). But regardless of my own jitters surrounding Editors at Glastonbury 2016, nothing can detract from the fact that this was another great show from the warm, fading embers of the In Dream campaign. As a fan, I think it's too important to be left sitting in a vault somewhere and for that reason I'm saying "What the hell", and posting it for anyone else who wants to see it (and I know a few of you do). As with Werchter 2016, the links here are downloadable rather than streaming, in an effort to stay off the BBC's radar and continue sharing this amazing material because, after all, that's all that really matters.
The only negative thing I will say about this gig, is that the placement of Editors in the running order for the day is all kinds of wrong. That's not to take anything away from the other musicians that played, but I think this was a missed opportunity by the organisers.
Disclosure 22.30 - 23.45
Bastille 20.40 - 21.40
Bring Me The Horizon 19.10 - 20.10
Editors 17.40 - 18.40
The Lumineers 16.10 - 17.10
Frightened Rabbit 14.50 - 15.40
Christine And The Queens 13.40 - 14.30
Blossoms 12.30 - 13.20
James 11.00 - 12.00
At this point they'd played 12 times just prior to Glastonbury, including the support slots with Blackwood's Finest so they were suitably road-tested. Plus, Editors are seasoned veterans of this venue and festival shows generally so it's not like they weren't prepared. They pulled a big crowd even for a daytime gig, but I can't shake the feeling that it could have been even better at night and with a longer set.
Anyway, enough of my grumbling, this is another wonderful Editors concert that deserves your attention. Enjoy the music, for as long as it's there...... ;)

Bonus Material - Ultrahome Audience Recording
This is a recording from the crowd which was very kindly offered by a fellow fan, Ultrahome. When I was first contacted about it I was knee deep in copyright strikes and on the verge of losing the Archive on YouTube, so I turned it down. I didn't want to attract any more attention from the BBC than I already had. We all know what happened next, and now that all of that is in the past it's time to move on and keep rebuilding. So now, finally, here's Ultrahome's audio document of Editors at Glastonbury 2016. Many thanks to you for making your work available. The items being shared here are in their original FLAC format in accordance with the taper's wishes. Enjoy the music ;)
