Beauregard Festival 3rd July 2010 (audio)

Here's Editors' slot at the Beauregard Festival, France which was held over 2 days in July of 2010. This is an audience recording that was taped and shared at the time by Kurddt. Many thanks to you for making your work available. The files are being shared in their original FLAC format in accordance with the taper's wishes.

The full lineup for the festival looked like this:-
The band were up against it in terms of the elements, having to play the set entirely in the beautiful sunshine which is not really conducive to the authentic Editors experience. You need darkness, lots of lovely lovely darkness for them to make total sense. Additionally there were obviously some problems with the physical setup of the venue, something which Tom references just after they finish playing ERM=BD

As well as the music, i have a semi-interesting piece of trivia for you. If you look at the photo above you'll see that Mika was playing the same day as Editors, and I would guess that ordinarily this wouldn't mean anything to you. There is, however, a very tenuous connection between Mika and Editors. "Whatever could it be?", I hear you ask. Well.....

Mr Ed Lay once pulled on a chicken costume and danced onstage during a performance by Mika.

With that disturbing image in mind, let's get on with the show. Enjoy ;)

By way of additional extras, here's the official program for the event as well as the promotional poster. Before you download, and to prevent and disappointment, I should point out that because this was a French festival event and so the text is entirely in that language.
