One more show for the Italian Pop Kids now, as we make a return visit to Editors' Palastampa concert during April of 2010 on the ITLAOTE campaign. This is a radio broadcast and , unfortunately, it isn't the full set. The missing track is The Big Exit. However, it's still a solid collection of material to make it a worthy download. A Life as a Ghost has slightly re-ordered and improvised lyrics towards the end, and there's a stunning reminder of Chris' musical edges at the "Now without water...." part of the song, with a beautifully distorted Rickenbacker sound. We also get Last Day, which I've rambled about at length in terms of its place in the trilogy of final songs that Editors mk1 wrote.
The show was originally recorded and shared back in May of 2010 by survivor69 (many thanks for making your work available), and I'm reintroducing it into the world again here for anyone who missed it the first time. Files are being shared in their original FLAC format in accordance with the taper's wishes.
There's a lot of DJ chatter throughout this and apparently this is encouraged by radio stations in Italy in order to prevent bootlegging. Which it clearly does. Oh yes, we've got a keen grasp of irony here at the Archive. I've posted the actual setlist first then the broadcast running order so you can compare them, which is especially relevant to the 3FM lineup. Enjoy the music folks ;)

3FM Radio Broadcast
This was aired a month and a half after the show in May of 2010, and includes most of the missing tracks from the RAI show above. You'll notice that the running order is different in this instance, with some songs being shuffled around the deck until they're in very peculiar places indeed (Papillon moving from the penultimate track to 8th in line and before You Don't Know Love). Sadly, we still have to cope with the loss of The Big Exit but I'll take a nearly complete professionally recorded Editors gig any day of the week. Enjoy the music ;)
