"Marching Orders"

It starts out with the same slow build that No Harm did, only this time it develops and turns into something else.  It's got that anthemic feel to it, and suggests that the guitars are still a part of the agenda.....or are they? We have to remember that we have 2 tracks from E5 released so far, and we still have no idea which is the best indicator for the direction of that album.  Will it be all moody and electronic, as No Harm was or will it be more Springsteen-esque and widescreen like Marching Orders? In essence we know a little bit more, but not a whole lot. Damn you, Editors!
I've said it before but I really believe that they've found someone who gets them in Rahi Rezvani.  When you match someone with that eye for detail and a band that seems to accurately soundtrack his style, this is what you get.  In my opinion their best videos have been their last two (aside from the dancing, wonderfully bored models in An End Has A Start but that's a different rant entirely). I'm really looking forward to hearing the new record. Enjoy the music :)

Before you play the video, here's a message from Tom and Team Editors that may interest you:-

"As with the video for No Harm, Marching Orders continues our on-going artistic collaboration with our good friend Rahi Rezvani, who again directs.

We have gifted 300 hand stamped 12” test pressings of Marching Orders to Oxfam. These records have been randomly placed and can be found in select Oxfam stores in the UK, Germany and Belgium. All profits from these records will go straight to Oxfam! In the spirit of fairness, if you find multiple copies in your local Oxfam store, please consider buying only one! For those without a local Oxfam store or who can’t find one of these limited test pressings, there will be other ways to buy the track soon.

"We've been supporters of Oxfam's amazing, vital work for many years, from supporting their Oxfam unwrapped campaign back in Xmas 2007, performing at Oxjam gigs and also hosting Oxfam campaigners on our tours to help raise funds and spread the word about the charity with our fans”
