Vorst Nationaal 7th November 2009 Christmas Gift

Back in 2009, Editors turned into the kind of Santa you'd be thrilled to see; black-clad, electronically inclined and of course, full of angst and gloom. In honour of the silly season they gave away some footage from their concert at Forest National, November 7th, which was at the time their biggest show to date on the campaign to promote ITLAOTE.  It was also another opportunity for the band to flirt shamelessly with the Belgian audience, which has nurtured a mutual appreciation that continues to this day. This unexpected present appeared on their official forum, and also contained a small message from Mr Smith (click on the photo above). If you can't quite make out what it says:-

"Tis that time of year once again, how time flies, whether you're having fun or not! With 2010 bearing down on us, Editors would like to wish y'all a very merry Christmas and a very, very happy new year. Thank you for your continued support and congrats on your continuing good taste!

As a present of sorts (we can't wrap it, it's digital!) we're giving away some footage from the biggest show of our Europpean tour, the forest National in Belgium, just one of our many 2009 highlights which we have you all to thank for. We hope you enjoy.
