Bazant Pohoda July 19th 2008 Slovakia (Radio Broadcast)

Here's a radio broadcast of Editors' first ever appearance in Slovakia in July of 2008. As you would expect from a professionally mixed show, the sound quality is great and the performance itself is typically energetic. But with every audio gift we receive there's often a price to be paid. It's a shopping list of negatives but in the interests of full disclosure, here they are.

• The station did idents throughout to prevent bootlegging (cough) but I've removed them, which is why it might feel as though some of the tracks end a little abruptly.  
• They began by fading Smokers in when it was almost at the end of the song, possibly to make sure the show occupied the broadcast time more effectively.
• They didn't air the full band electric version of No Sound but the Wind which was played here, no doubt owing to its identity as an unreleased Editors track at that time. 

Apart from that, is all good. Enjoy the music ;)
