Set in the Musical Instrument Museum, Brussels, here's Nothing being performed acoustically as part of Editors' Bruxelles Ma Belle session. I don't have a date of recording but an educated guess would suggest it's sometime in June of 2013. The acoustics in the room are definitely an essential component of this offering, and it's nice to hear Russell on piano again. Oh yeah, and you should definitely stick with the clip after the song has finished, as King Leetch drops some hot sounds with a Theremin. Imagine if they disappeared into seclusion to record again, like they did for album 5, and ended up returning having gone all-out-whacky and produced an entire album of Theremin ballads? Ambient gloom. It's the future I tells ya.
