Filmed on August 4th 2007 at the Splendour in the Grass Festival, Australia, this is a little gem from 2007 starring Tom and Howling Bells. For those who didn't know, Where the Wild Roses Grow was originally a super-fantastic song by Kylie Minogue and the Dark Lord of Back-Combing, Mr Nick Cave. In this video, Tom joined Howling Bells onstage to perform the duet with Juanita Stein. In terms of cover version that Tom could be involved in, this one is pretty perfect. Editors are, of course, big fans of Nick Cave and Howling Bells have toured with Editors in the past. Then add to that the fact that it took place at an Australian festival, and you get the impression that the planets were definitely in alignment that night.
