Morning Becomes Eclectic 25th July 2007 (audio/video)

"We're about as flexible as glass......." - Tom prior to playing Lights

Up next, a return visit for the band to Nic Harcourt's Morning Becomes Eclectic show on KCRW, July 25th 2007. It's over 11 years since this show first aired, and what a long way they've come since then. As with most of the streaming videos from around this time, the quality is a little bit...lacking. It has that authentic "filmed using a potato" look, but historically it deserves to be preserved and shared. So it now has a permanent spot at the Archive for past, present and future fans.

The show is a live session which includes an interview with the band about the recording of AEHAS, and the audio rip of the set available here comes to us courtesy of Nibbler (thank you). The files are being shared here in their original FLAC format in accordance with the taper's wishes. The recording actually ended up running a little short, so as a bonus we got Lights in addition to the other 7 tracks played here. Ain't we the lucky ones? Yep, we are.

Of note is the truly horrific wallpaper in the studio area that's offset by a rug which, in the immortal words of Walter from The Big Lebowski "Really tied the room together, did it not".  Enjoy the music ;)
