OK, OK. Before I start, I apologise for my over-enthusiasm for this gig but I'd been looking forward to sharing it ever since I started this blog.
I absolutely love this show. The sound quality is sourced from Swedish radio station SP3 and it's very easy on the ears. More than that, the band attack the songs rather than just simply "playing them". Someone Says has an extended intro, they tear through Lights, they get all emotional with Camera and then, there's Bones. This show has, pretty much undoubtedly, got one of the finest full-band performances of Bones ever. It contains the old-school extra "Retreats" and the sound quality is fantastic, but more than that, they absolutely own it. You also get a chance to hear their version of Road to Nowhere by Talking Heads. There is a negative nestled among the positives, however. Fingers in the Factories has a very audible glitch at the start meaning that technically this is an incomplete recording.
I don't want to over-sell this show but, in my opinion anyway, in the absence of an official live album by Editors this is a worthy substitute. I'm thrilled to be able to share it with you here, and I hope you grow to love it as much as I do :)
