The JD Set 2005

This is a film originally broadcast here in the UK on Channel 4 television, and details a concert held on the 17th of September at the Mercy Lounge, Nashville, Tennessee 2005. It was a promotion set up by Jack Daniels to celebrate their anniversary. The other bands included were The Features (a band that were popular in the Nashville music scene at the time) and Maximo Park. Tracks performed and presented here are Munich and Lights, and there's an interview interspersed with some of the concert footage.

It was a show that logistically was a bit of a nightmare in terms of travelling. They'd already flown from Germany to London, then on to Nashville where they played the show and stayed one night before flying back to the UK. Gruelling, to say the least. It was another milestone in Editors history because this was  their first trip to America.  And if that wasn't enough trivial info for you, they also performed a duet of sorts with Maximo Park, French Disko by Stereolab, with both Paul and Mr Smith reading the lyrics from bits of paper.
