Planet Claire Session - 22nd June 2005

Stripped back to the very basics, this is a great little set from the 22nd of June 2005 for the Planet Claire radio station.  It features Chris and Tom playing 4 tracks acoustically, in what is apparently a very small and hot room. It was captured during the year that things really started happening for the band in terms of their recorded output. The Back Room was actually released almost exactly a month to the day after they played here and Bullets, Munich and Blood all got single releases this year. Momentum was buidling quietly, and it would only get faster and more intense from here on out.

So here's another moment in Editors' history dusted off for a repeat viewing this time in its entirety as a single clip. I've also included the mp3s from the set, as well as the CD artwork that was offered for downloading on the Planet Claire website at the time.

Watch out for the lovely little interaction just before they start Munich, as Mr Smith inquires about the tempo:-

Tom - "How fast does it go?"
Chris - "You're asking the wrong man."
