Jet-lagged but raring to go, this is the full session from Animales de Radio featuring Tom and Justin, as a prelude to Editors playing their first ever live show in South America this Monday. You'll notice the link to the video will take you directly to the Animales de Radio Youtube profile, and not the Archive as would usually be the case. It doesn't mean that the footage isn't been stored, as it most certainly is. This is purely being done out of self-preservation and avoiding copyright troubles. However, should the video ever go offline, or you just want a copy for yourself, you know what to do...
So this is a significant time in the history of the band. For years, fans in this region of the world have been crying out for a visit from Editors. It's one thing to watch your favourite artists from afar, but to finally get a chance to go to a show after such a prolonged period of waiting must be pretty special. So it will be on Monday when they play the Rock al Parque festival, which also happens to be celebrating its 30th anniversary.
for this session we got 4 songs, as well as some chat with the hosts.
I am so, so happy for everyone who has the opportunity to go see them play. The promotional cycle for Surface, Echo and Sound already feels different to the previous ones. It genuinely feels like there's something very special going on this time around.
Make them welcome, y'all.
