This one's for all you German-speaking fans of the band, as Tele Basel interview Russell and Ed backstage at Stimmen Festival on the 27th July 2018. It was found by Hannah at the band's online forum, and I'm Archiving it here. Thanks again to you for the heads-up ;)
From what I can pick out, the topics included here seem to be about Editors being a form of musical escapism for people living in these topsy-turvy times (pretty sure Trump is referenced). They also discuss their affiliation with Oxfam, as well as the different reactions of different audiences to their music.
Of course there's only one thing more frustrating that not being able to understand the language, and it just so happens that it's also an irritant for those who can. The interview cuts back and forth between our two Editors and some footage of the band playing Stimmen festival. That means the show, or certainly parts of it were filmed professionally. Unfortunately, it's likely that they only used the bits they needed for this brief feature and the rest will either be deleted or locked in a video library somewhere. These are the details that prevent my brain from switching off at night so I can sleep.
