This is just wonderful. Courtesy of EverythingisnewTV, here's a special 12 minute video all about Editors' recent show at Coliseu de Lisboa on the 16th of October. The clip is in Portuguese but some English speakers do turn up later on. It features some music by support act Balthazar, as well as pro-shot footage Editors playing Sugar, Someone Says and Smokers. But that's not what makes this so fantastic.
Towards the end of the the video, the interviewer talks to fans after the show to get their thoughts on what they just saw. Some of them decide that the planets are in alignment, and that the time is definitely right to give us their own rendition of some classic Editors tracks. The guy in the photo above in particular takes this very seriously indeed. It's a pity that they didn't show the entire performance, as I'd have loved to have seen him throw himself into the "come on now, you knew you you were lost..." section.
