This show is a solid performance from the In Dream campaign at the Trojan Horse in Den Haag on the 2nd of October 2015. As well as having All the Kings and Salvation in the setlist, they were still finishing the evening on Marching Orders. This runs contrary to later gigs where that song would slow down and then bleed into Papillon for the grand finale. This evening was also one of the few times during this run of live shows that Editors were a 6 piece band. I'm discounting the times that they collaborated with We Are Scientists, R.E.M. and Maximo Park here, mainly because they were explicitly credited when they performed together. Here, it's a little more subtle.
Such is the percussive power required to propel Nothing that Mr Lay needs an extra pair of arms to play it, something which comes in the form of someone who I believe is a member of Team Editors' stage crew. If you watch some of the fan footage of other gigs around this time, he's there too. Emerging from the shadows to beat the crap of the kit for one song only and then just as quickly, he disappears .
Paard van Troje is a concert video that haunts me. When the Archive still had a place on YouTube in its original form, this was the film that earned me the most blocks worldwide. I spent 8 hours uploading the whole thing in its original form only to have it restricted in 238 countries, and qualify me for a snotty standard letter from YouTube. This wasn't ideal in terms of preserving and sharing the material effectively, which is all the Archive is really about. I appealed the decision but got nowhere. That's why this is a direct link to the 3Voor12 channel. Not ideal, because I want everything to be here in the same place in case other sites disappear in time. However, in terms of preservation it doesn't really matter because I always have copies of everything I share.
There's bonus material in the form of an FM radio rip by friend to the Archive, Trebor and a video of a fan signing session on the day of the gig. Offhand swearing from the bass section is included. Enjoy the music ;)

Trebor's PureFM Radio Rip
Trebor is a previous contributor here at the Archive, and his latest gift is the PureFM radio rip of the Den Haag show. Many thanks to you once again for sharing. It's appreciated. The bad news is that the setlist is incomplete (full set is still available above), to make sure that it fit into the one hour time slot allotted by PureFM. It means that a couple of the new tunes, Tom doing Smokers acoustically and the extended Papillon aren't represented here. But the quality of what we have is sensational. Files are being shared here in their original FLAC format in accordance with the taper's wishes. Enjoy the music ;)
