I remember that this concert was a huge deal at the time it happened. It was one of the biggest shows they'd done and it was, of course, a homecoming gig. This usually means you're guaranteed a partisan crowd who are up for a good time, and so it proved to be. The sound quality of this recording is absolutely stellar, and if you really want to appreciate just how scarily powerful Editors are as a live act, then this is one of the finest examples we have. Full of energy and passion, this was a band clearly very comfortable in their surroundings and as a fan, there's lots to love as a result.
