The shows from this particular era in 2013 were of particular interest to long time Editors fans, because Someone Says, Like Treasure and YDKL appeared back on regular rotation as part of the live set. It's a true crime that Like Treasure has free-fallen down the list of potential presentations when they've compiled the setlists in the latter seasons of their touring lives. It's almost adopted the moniker of "forgotten son".
Sadly, that's the problem with subjectively appreciating something you have absolutely no control over; ultimately its destiny is out of your hands, regardless of the amount of passion and fondness you have invested in it. The band themselves have made it clear before that they felt Like Treasure never really went over when they played it live, which has probably been the reason for its status as "overlooked" later on. Regardless, it is still in my opinion one of Editors' greatest compositions. The versions they played later with Justin on guitar managed to be faithful and sneakily reverential, given that the first thing you heard in the new arrangement is the original outro for the song that Chris wrote. I've always felt that was a lovely touch.
As well as Like Treasure there was also the adrenaline teasing full-band take of Nothing, appreciated by all the people who had heard the album version and instantly developed an irrational fear of string arrangements. You may mock, but it absolutely happened.
