Another inspired moment of Editors peculiarity now. I don't have an exact date for this clip other than it was early 2006. Mr Urbanowicz introduces the song "Cheney" by support act Brakes. He calms the audience, he instructs Brakes to be ready, then he does a Ramones style "1,2,3,4," before disappearing like a vampire into the shadowy side area of the stage. Utterly baffling. Why did this happen? What was the motivation? Who the hell knows! But it sure is fun to watch, in a strange and unsettling kind of way. Brakes would, of course, be subject to more on tour weirdness with Editors in the "Pantomime Horse Incident", also available to view by using the links at the bottom of this post.
