Editors on Rage 2007 (video)

A little bit of Australian TV here for you now, as we find Editors doing a spot of guest hosting on RAGE in 2007. This is one of a those times where the band were invited to select some videos by their favourite artists, and to give a brief introduction to some of them. Personally, I adore this kind of thing because it's almost like receiving a "mixtape" from someone, where they put a collection of bands together for you to listen to. You might hate some of them, but equally there may just be something that totally blows you away and makes you want to find out more. With that in mind, the selection of artists and songs on this particular list is absolutely amazing and if there's bands on here you haven't checked out yet, you may be about to fall in love. I hadn't listened to Shady Lane by Pavement in years and I'd forgotten how much I loved it. And if you haven't heard My Bloody Valentine before, check out the clip listed below taken from their excellent Tremelo EP but also make some time to listen to Soon by that band. Be sure to have the volume set to "high" on both occasions.

I've combined all the band's brief video introductions into a single clip, and provided youtube links to all the bands on their RAGE playlist. Check 'em out, people. You might discover something wonderful.
