Here's another moment in time from the end of 2005, where we find Editors on cracking form with a gig at the University of Bristol. The other artistes sharing the bill that night were We Are Scientists, with whom the band formed a solid friendship. They have since guested live on tracks for each other, with Chris playing guitar for WAS on a live cover version of All That She Wants by Ace of Base. Conversely, two members of WAS have provided backing vocals on Editors' live cover of Orange Crush by REM.
Am I making this up? Can I actually prove that any of this even happened at all? I can indeed, and I will post the video evidence in the future on the blog :)
The Bristol setlist is, as expected, mainly composed of Back Room tracks but there's also room for Let Your Good Heart Lead You Home and You Are Fading, which even as b-sides are pretty much essential listening to anybody with an unhealthy interest in the band.
